Case Study

Mobilisation Narrative

Dubai Metro Red Line works along elevated viaducts and station approaches demand plant that can keep pace with night-shift civils while live traffic and neighbouring buildings stay open. FM Rental supplied diesel generators with distribution for casting yards and station MEP packages, compaction equipment for approach roads and hardstandings, LED lighting towers for overnight pours, and boom lifts for soffit and façade access on station envelopes.

Deliveries were sequenced to the contractor’s traffic management plan so machines did not block emergency lanes under the guideway. Fuel containment and spill kits matched the rail-corridor HSE file; service vans covered peak paving and pour nights when downtime would have slipped the programme.

When station packages extended by a week, hire amendments kept the same inducted serial numbers on site so QA and induction records stayed continuous. Off-hire tracked handover of each work front so plant cleared before passenger interfaces and retail zones reopened.
