Mobilisation Narrative
Address Downtown and the surrounding Downtown Dubai precinct demand hire plant that can work beside live hospitality, lake promenades, and public realm without disrupting guest flow. FM Rental supplied diesel generators with distribution boards and cabling for shell, MEP, and fit-out packages, boom and scissor lifts for façade and plant-room access, and lighting for overnight works when hotel and retail interfaces stayed open the next day.
Machine placement and cable routes were agreed with the site electrical engineer and facilities teams so emergency egress, valet corridors, and fountain-facing promenades stayed clear. Fuel containment and spill response followed the precinct HSE file; field engineers attended first energisation of temporary boards serving successive hospitality and residential zones.
When fit-out packages overlapped across floors and podium levels, hire amendments kept inducted serial numbers on site so access and power records stayed continuous for the main contractor’s QA pack. Off-hire tracked each handover so plant cleared before public and guest interfaces reopened.
