Programme Summary
Temporary power, access lifts, and site support for theme-park shell, MEP, and fit-out works at Ferrari World on Yas Island.
Mobilisation Narrative
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s large indoor envelope and ride-system interfaces need hire plant that can support shell, MEP, and attraction fit-out without conflicting with neighbouring Yas Island packages. FM Rental supplied diesel generators with distribution boards and cabling for temporary construction power, boom and scissor lifts for roof-structure and plant-room access, and lighting for overnight works inside and around the building footprint.
Machine placement and cable routes were agreed with the package electrical lead so emergency egress, delivery yards, and guest-arrival corridors stayed clear as commissioning approached. Fuel containment and spill response followed Yas Island and contractor HSE packs; field engineers attended first energisation of temporary boards serving successive fit-out zones.
When ride and retail fit-out windows overlapped, hire amendments kept inducted serial numbers on site so access and power records stayed continuous for the main contractor’s QA file. Off-hire tracked each zone handover so plant cleared before public opening.
